Guiunea pigs are very social and shouldn't be kept alone. How many pigs do you have and what size cage. One piggie needs a 7.5 sguare feet and you add 2.5 sguare feet for each additional pig. Welcome to the forum. This is a good site for a lot of information on how to take care of your new family member. Make sure to read and learn as much as you can. |

Welcome Ladder!! Oh, look at that coat on the piggy! BEAUTIFUL! I want to snuggle with it! Is it a boy or girl? I agree with what Rnd said...make sure you get a proper set up and I think adopting a same-sex friend for your piggy is a great idea  You'll learn so much here...there's a lot to read, but it's all good stuff |

Hello and glad you found this sight. I have learned so much from everyone here, they have a wealth of info. Check out all the threads, especially the ones by Ly on nutrition. (I dont know how to attach link, my hubby and daughter are asleep and I am so stupid with computers.LOL) Like Rnd210 stated, friends are a must and proper cage size. We have 12 piggies and I am always trying to find ways to get them more space. More space, happier, healthier pigs. You will enjoy your new family member. They have a way of stealing your heart. Your piggy is gorgeous. Nice and healthy looking with that shiny coat. Best wishes |
