I got a new piggy and her name is Mokey. I named her after one of the characters from Fraggle Rock, because she reminds me of a fraggle. I adopted her. She's the sweetest thing in the world! I think she's about 2 or 3 years old. She will be going to the vet tomorrow for a checkup. I attached some pictures of her to this thread, so I hope you can see them. Does anyone know what breed of guinea pig she is? Her hair is very frizzy, even after you brush it. It's also wiry. And the hair around her bum is longer than the rest of her hair. I believe people call these tail feathers? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.       |

She does indeed look like a Fraggle! She's very cute. That's a unique fur... I think she's a mix of things, with maybe some teddy with the wiry/frizzy hair description. I'm no expert at all, though! |

She is very pretty. I'd guess she's a mix, maybe a peruvian/teddy cross? I have a couple pigs with the longer hair on the bum and I just trim it. Otherwise it gets kinda gross. Thank you for sharing and thank you for adopting this sweet gal. |

So I took Mokey to the vet today. And she is officially a HE! I am 100% sure, because the doctor made his penis stick out. And he got a clean bill of health. He's getting neutered Thursday so that I don't have any babies running around. |
