Hello! (again)

Hi,
My name is Nylorac, and I used to be on here a lot, but its been about a year. So i decided I would say hi to every one again! I still don't have guinea pigs . I have been wanting them for over 4 years. I still can't firgure out why my mom won't let me have them! I have money, I am responsible(my mom says so too, she let me homeschool. Which is a big responsibility), I have plenty of time to devot to the little guys, but she still won't let me get them! I even found a rescue that has a lot of cute little piggies for adoption. Any body have ideas on how to get my mom to say yes?
Thanks in advanced,
~Nylorac

Re: Hello! (again)

I don't really know what you can do. I know it's hard to try and convince them, it took me about 3 years and they finally said yes, but we got it all wrong (I thought I knew everything but it turned out books are wrong), it then took a few weeks to get through to my dad that how we were going to do it was wrong, and that I refused to buy from a petstore. We ended up not adopting any because we were going to move, and I am still waiting, if you look at my profile you'll see why. It's hard to wait but it'll definitely be worth it.
Have you asked her why you can't get any?

Re: Hello! (again)

Well, You could do it the way I did! I just brought animals home! Doesn't really score points with your parents but my mom fell in love with anything I brought home, even though she said no before hand! Haha, at one point I brought so many animals home, my dad couldn't even tell anymore! My mom occasionally brought home animals too though, she was just scared about me bringing home something we couldn't handle or us not having anymore room. Hopefully you get want you want!

Re: Hello! (again)

My mom is not that giving. She says we're not ready to have more animals. But I have plenty of time for them. I guess my mom is just not ready for anything else. (We have horses). She had said last fall I could get them, but that never happened. So all I can do (I guess) is wait for a good time. But the only thing is, I hate waiting! I already have fleece (there was a clearence sale at a fabric store) and have a great idea for a cage. There's not much more planing I could do. (that I know of) Anybody have suggestions for making the time go by?
