Talking Hello everyone!

Hey! I am from Missouri in the USA and I joined the fourm a couple of days ago because I am getting my first piggie! I have been researching up a storm and have already posted 4 topics of questions! I am so excited, and I want my piggie to have the best care possible. I am making a C&C cage so she has lots of room! I just wanted to introduce myself to the community and appologize for my horrible spelling.

Hello and welcome! I'm glad you've decided to research before you adopt. Do you mind me asking; Where are you getting your pig from? I would suggest a rescue since there are so many who need homes.

She is here! I adopted my cute little baby Ella from the Lincoln County Farmer's Co-op! She is a 5week old long hair female that is white with traces of grey. She is such a cutie. I will post a picture later today

You bought her. You knew about the piggies in shelters dying and you still bought her.

If you plan on getting her a buddy, please adopt.

I dont want to get into an argument. Yes I bought her, but it isnt like she was the only healthy one or anything. All of the other animals were nice and well cared for, so please just dont yell at me about purchasing her

NOr do I.

Just one bit of info for you. Even if the pigs are well cared for up front, doesn't mean the mill or breeder you suported is. Take a look on this site why we don't support ANY petstore that sells animals.

But whats done is done. Next time you want to get a pig (and I hope it'll be soon since pigs do best in pairs), just opt to adopt.
