I just brought our first piggy home yesterday from a rescue. I did a lot of research before getting him and just really want to do everything possible to make him happy. We have a 5 year old and a 2 year old who are in love with him already. He started squeaking at us today...I think he is starting to like us?        |

Welcome! Guinea pigs often squeek for food! We like to call it wheeking! Guinea pigs usually associate it with the fridge opening or plastic bags crinkling since that usually means veggies. Mine also do it when I call their names! |
