I think I forgot to introduce myself. I get the two good sites mixed up. I'm from Chicagoland Indiana. Recently (March) had three babies, one died. I gave the babies to a wonderful rescue lady who I met at the Crown Point Pet Fair. I was trying to adopt them out myself with flyers, but after speaking to her I totally trusted she would be able to find much better homes. I had my male nuetered , unfortunatley it was too late and that's where the babies came from. Now I just have the three in my picture. I'm so glad for these site as mine were scratching and Lola my long hair had wierd dandruff that couldn't be bathed away, small spot of hair loss. I found an awesome Cavy vet about 25 miles away (Plum creek animal complex) and she tried a powder which didn't work so yesterday they each had Ivermectin shots. I have had people say to me "You took Guinea pigs to the vet?" Like they're explendable. Whatever they're all part of my animal menagere, all my babies.

I'm glad you took them to the vet, and also that you got your boy neutered. My mom used to complain because it was hard for her to find a cavy vet back in the 80s and early 90s. (We lived in Whiting for a long time before moving to Arizona in 92)
