Hello Everyone

Hi,
I've been reading posts on this site for about a month now, and learning lots of new stuff, so I decided it's time to join. My name's Jamie and I'm a 22 yr old girl that has a little zoo of pets that I love dearly. I have 3 horses, a dog, cat, 2 guinea pigs, and 3 55 gallon fish tanks. Our family also has 2 more dogs, another cat, and one more horse, so our place is kept pretty busy with animals. I've had guinea pigs many times when I was younger, but was guilty of keeping them in the dreaded pet shop cages, which I'm ashamed to admit now. This site has shown me how much better the big cages are for my piggies, and how easy they are to make, so my two boys are loving their big C&C cage. Thanks for all of the helpful information, and for helping me make my guinea pig's lives so much better...

Re: Hello Everyone

Welcome to GPC! I'm sure you will continue to learn and grow with knowledge about your guinea pigs. Please post pictures of your 4-legged (and finned) family members. We love getting to see our member's pigs (dogs, cats, horses, fish, etc).

Re: Hello Everyone

Thanks..I'm in the process of posting pics right now..wasn't sure if it was ok to post non-guinea pig pics or not. I was trying to find out before I did, don't want to break any rules the first day I'm on here

Re: Hello Everyone

We especially want to see your guinea pigs, but we have animal lovers of all shapes and sizes, and this is your introduction. Feel free to show us all of your animal family.

Re: Hello Everyone

Here's a few pics of some of my animals...the first one is my oscar "Bubba". The next pic is of my three horses "Foxy", "Rain", and "Katie". The third pic is my doberman/boxer mix "Copper". She's 12yrs old, and loves attention, so she's more than happy to dress up and pose for pics. The next dog is my sisters goofy doberman "Kujo". Then the following pic is her chiluahla/pomeraian mix "Sassy". Still missing a few animals, I'll see if I can find some pics of them..

Re: Hello Everyone

Here's the rest of our pets..the first cat is my sisters, his name is "Casella". My father found him in a dumpster at the trash company where he works, Casella waste services, when he was a kitten, and brought him home.
The next cat is mine. His name is "Casper". I found him out in the woods alongside our road when he was a kitten, way to young to be with out his mother.
The next pic is my two guinea pigs, "Yogi", and "Noah". The last pic is another one of my horses, hiding out in the barn during a snowstorm.

Re: Hello Everyone

Last but def. not least, is my sisters horse "Honey". She's the lighter one on the left. Sorry I couldn't find a better pic of her, since my horse is kind of hogging the camara in this shot, but it's the only one I can find. Thanks for looking and for having such a helpful site

Re: Hello Everyone

Oh, and I can't forget our poor Simba..He was my sisters 7 yr old doberman. We had to make the hardest decision no pet owner wants to face, and had him put down about a week and a half before christmas. He had bone cancer that was untreatable, and starting to put him in a lot of pain. So R.I.P. Simba boy, we love you and hope you understand why.
