New Cavy Owners - soon - Indy

We are going to be adopting some Cavies in a couple of weeks. We've already picked them out and the lady is holding them for us. We are getting them from Rescued Guinea Pigs . com.

I've been reading this website to garner all kinds of useful information. I'm not yet brave enough to try fleece, but I'm still reading. I've made a 2x3 (slightly longer - more like 2x3.5) and it's got a 1x2 loft. I'm still getting it all together. I had to overlap the center by 1 "grid square" to make it narrow enough for my master plan. I'm making a rolling base for it. It'll be in our Living Room where we spend all our time. The rolling base offers a couple of good advantages to our situation. We can very easily move it for cleaning, and when we have friends over where the commotion might scare the pigs, I can wheel the cage into our bedroom.

I'm still reading and learning on here. Thanks gor a great site and a place where I can soak it all in.
