Hello There, Everyone!

I can remember being in the second grade and I had a teacher named Mrs. Gray. The woman had a guinea pig that she kept in the classroom and every day at lunch we were able to go up to the cage and view the guinea pig if the weather restricted us from going outside and playing. During Christmas that year, she called me up to her desk and sent me to the office to call home and ask my parents if I could bring the guinea pig home with me to take care of over the break. Her husband [who I'd later have in Junior has as a computer teacher] was allergic to a LOT of stuff and I'm assuming the guinea pig was one of them. They allowed me and I loved it.

Eleven years later, around the same time of year, I've been given a guinea pig by one of my friends. I've wanted one since keeping my teachers that week that we were off from school, but my family is a bit hesitant on new animals coming in the house. They allowed me to keep this one.

I named it Bailey.
I'm unsure if its gender.

Anyway, to introduce myself, the name is Jarrod.
I'm a 19 year old from West Virginia and after getting the guinea pig tonight I thought I'd jump online and search for a forum or two with some good information and valuable brains. I found this forum and I thought I'd sign up. So yeah, hey!
