Meet my new girl - Gwenivere-Petal. Usually called Gwenny, Gwynnie or Gwynnie Pig.
Her hair is medium-length, so I'm not sure what breed she is. She came from Wood Green Animal Shelter just down the road. The homecheck went fine and Gwenny came home on Sunday!
She'll join Charlie, Tuppy and Jazzie once things have calmed down. (Original introductions didn't go well so we will need a full day and many different techniques to get these guys together!)
Quick note on the others - Charlie is still going, 5 months after his tumor was diagnosed. The CCT suspects it's cancerous due to the muscle wasting. Tup is mellowing out a little, but is still generally a moody madam. Jasmine is still cute and chubby and has learnt to defend herself around the other pigs. (She doesn't get picked on, but she did in the past and was a total pushover).
Lottie and Dexie are still living together. Lottie had a stone removed from her urethra, the fungal infection polished from her nose, and has just had her second HCG injection to treat a small ovarian cyst. Dexter now weighs 3lb (at 9 months old) and is still gaining weight at a rate of half and ounce a week. He's my people pig - adores being fussed over and tickled, scratched, petted etc.
Will give a real update soon. I've been back in Cambridge for 4 weeks and the internet has only just been sorted out (problems with the cables, took forever for the company to sort).
