| Hello from Arizona
Hi everyone! I just joined a few days ago and I absolutely love this website. I have had guinea pigs for the past 6 months or so. We have 3 girls, named Nugs, Rosie, and Spider.
We have a 3x5 C&C cage. After joining, I have been looking at all the great ideas everyone has. Last night I reorganized the cage, and the girls seem to love it. Once I figure out how to post pictures I will put some up.
Nugget (nicknamed Nugs) is the first guinea pig we got. She is very calm and relaxed. She is the largest and fluffiest, as well as the most dominant. I just started calling her "a cute little nugget" and the name Nugs seemed to stick.
Then we decided to get Rosie so Nugs could have a friend. She is the most animated and outgoing. She is always the first to start squeeking when we get treats out. We named her Rosie because of her red eyes. When I give them floor time, she comes right up to me and stands and "waits for the elevator" to put her back when she is done running. It is really cute.
The last one we got is the baby named Spider. Since I named the other 2, my boyfriend decided to name this one. Her name is completely random, and she does not resemble a Spider in anyway. My boyfriend just thought it was a funny name, and it ended up sticking. She is skiddish but is very calm when held.
I love all the great advice on this website, and everyone has such great ideas. Thanks for everything and I will show some pictures when I figure out how.
