Talking new member with two piggies!
hello everyone! my daughter and i have been caring for harold and oliver for about a year and a half and unfortunately, i was one of the ignorant many who had no idea about proper cage size.

i began researching and discovered that our set up was completely wrong and immediately went out to get the proper supplies for a c&c cage. i put it together last night and voila! a great sized 2x4 with lots of room for both of them.

just wanted to say hello and extend my gratitude for the wealth of information available and i'm so glad i was able to rectify the situation for our piggies and hopefully they'll be much happier now.

Hi, and welcome!

Just keep reading and reading everything on this website and you'll find that you will learn more about how to properly care for guinea pigs than you ever thought possible!

I can't believe how much healthier, happier, and more comfortable our piggies are compared to when we didn't know anything but what the pet stores (ugh) and so-called guinea pig care books told us.
