Introducing ourselves. Soon to adopt a young guinea pig

Hi everyone.

We are new and wanted to say hello. We will probably be doing some posting to get ready for a new cavy we may possibly get soon. He is one of 4 that needs adoption. They sold the cavies as same sex, but these people learned the hard way that they were not same sexed. So she had 2 baby girls. The girls are together and the father is now separated.

They told us he is sweet, 9 months old and is ok being apart from the rest. He loves to be held too. So this will be great for my son. He has so much love and time to devote to a pet now ) I'm excited for him.

So hopefully it works out. I would love to get any information or helpful advise here. I want us to be totally prepared to give this little guy a happy home.
