Hello! I am so pleased to have located this great site. I have been reading posts for over a month now, and decided to join. I am a first time piggie owner- and as I have read on many other posts- it appears as if I did everything all wrong initially. Having said that; thank you for all of the wonderful information on here, I am slowly but surely correcting my mistakes. Nothing I can do about getting a little girl from a (cringe) pet store, but I couldn't be happier with her. Cocoa is a young american, beautiful light brown with tan stripes. I can't wait to post a picture, as soon as I can I will get her posted. I do pray I didn't buy a pregnant female, as it seems the pet store clerks were not very 'cavy savy'.
