| Newbie with pictures! New to the forum but not cavies. Got my first one squid about a year ago off of a group on yahoo called freecycle. Got the second one squirrel at a local flea market in august (she was soooo miserable) and received my third one squabble off of craigslist about a month ago. Surprise! Squirrel was pregnant when I got her but the vet told me she wasn't . So I thought her getting bigger was all the good veggies/hay she was getting but I was wrong she was going to be a mom! Her babies are now 4 weeks old. She had 3 little cuties! I have now switched vets. They are housed in a 2 level hot pink cubes with black Coroplast c&c cage. I just built a new addition for the 2 male baby guinea pigs so we don't have any more babies. Here are 2 pics starting with the long hair(squabble) agouti (squirrel) and black/white is squid. The Gals as I call them. Along with Squirrel's 3 babies who are un-named, you can only come up with so many names that start with SQ    |

| Re: Newbie with pictures! Those babies are the cutest, I love the one on the left side, he/she looks kind of like a chinchilla.. .As for names, you want them all to start with SQ? How about Squire, Squirt,Squirm, Squeek,...I will have to think about more, these are some tough letters to deal with,haha. |

| Re: Newbie with pictures! Thank You so much! Squeek! perfect for the orange/white one, he is only quite when he is eating his veggies which is why I now have to wear ear plugs to bed, somehow my daughter sleeps right through his noise haha, lucky her. |
