| Newbie from TX Hello everyone My name is Gina, I am 25 and I am from Fort Worth TX. My fiancé and I just adopted two male guinea pigs today. I know very little about them but I am ready and willing to learn. The person we adopted them from was rehoming them for a friend of his. She left a detailed information packet and it included information from this site. It makes me wonder if she is a member here. The two boys are absolutely adorable. One is white with black and tan patches and the other is black with tan patches all over. They are very timid at the moment but I expected that as they are adjusti  ng to the move. | Re: Newbie from TX Welcome to the forum! Make sure to take note of the sticky threads on the top of each subforum they are full of info! I'm also going to give you a few links that might help you out you might have seen them but just to be safe I'll give them anyway. First is a link to a page on links then a link to Kleenmama's hayloft the hay there is absulutely great from what I've heard (I don't have piggies yet but I'm getting some soon). I also heard it is cheaper then Oxbrow (another online hay site). I hope you enjoy the site as much as I am and oh if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them! PS. | Re: Newbie from TX Thanks I was just looking through some of those links. Its alot of information all at once. I think I am going to enjoy this site though. I will get some pictures going soon but I wanted to allow them some time to settle before I started bothering them too much. |

It's a lot to take in and I'm still wanting to learn and get new ideas and I've been here for a few years now. Just read read read and have fun with your new guys. I'm sure you will discover they are bundles of joy. |
