Long time stalker, hehe I'm Zap, and I've been stalking this forum for close to a year. Wierd I know =P, but I finally decided to sign up, since I was here 3 times a week anyway. Haha. The thing is.. that I don't have any piggies.. YET! I've been wanting to adopt one (Or two >_>) for about two years now, but I want to make sure I absolutly know every thing I need to, and that I can support one money-wise before I bring one home. =) So. I have nothing much else to say. I look forward to meeting you guys!

Re: Long time stalker, hehe Well first off welcome to the forums. But for information cruising the forums and reading them is great way to get some also. But I would say that is the best way to learn is research research research. And if you can't find something them post on the forum to ask. Welcome again.

Re: Long time stalker, hehe Welcome to the forum! Have you tried petfinder or craig's list but if you get a piggie from craig's list I would suggest getting your piggie to a vet ASAP since they are coming from a home and you don't really know how they took care of the pig. Oh you should adopt two since cavies are herd animals. Oh kudos to you for researching before adopting your piggies. Anyway if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them and I hope you are enjoying the forum as much as I am. PS. If you adopt some pigs soon make sure to post some pigtures

Re: Long time stalker, hehe I don't have any piggies, either. I'm glad I stumbled across this site when I did, though, or I would have had piggies (probably from a shelter- I knew that much at least!) in a pet store cage and desperately trying to find room for a C&C for the animals I thought would do fine in a plastic storage bin. (Eep!) It's great you are doing your research first- it will make things so much easier when you finally bring a piggie or ten home. ![]()
