Howdy!

Been a cavy parent all my life really and currently am owned by 3 adorable sisters Peeper, Kuma (my avatar- hiding in a coke fridge pack box happily), and Kiwi. I actually found this site when I was looking into rabbit cage options a few months ago for my Holland lop and netherland dwarf. Organize it cubes and the plastic (chloroplast?) has changed my life! My 3 pigs have range of a 3x7 run with a 3x3 upper level. They also have a 3x4 playpen for outdoors (weather permitted).

My buns are in a 4x10x5 high. 2 upper floors and an enclosed 1st floor bedroom that they love.

This is actually the first time I have had multiple cavy at the same time. The last pigs I had (many years ago gap) were all solo but when reading up this time around I decided a family was the way to go.

I also have 3 cats and some fish. The cavy and buns have it good in the basement family room away from annoying clawed felines!

Re: New to forums

Welcome, Hannya! I'm new here as well. I'm being owned by two cavies for the first time. So I've been doing a lot of research... and learning a lot!

Welcome, again!

Re: New to forums

Welcome to the forum!

Make sure to take note of the sticky threads on the top of each subforum they are full of info! I'm also going to give you a few links that might help you out you might have seen them but just to be safe I'll give them anyway. First is a link to a page on links then a link to Kleenmama's hayloft the hay there is absulutely great from what I've heard (I don't have piggies yet but I'm getting some soon). I also heard it is cheaper then Oxbrow (another online hay site). I hope you enjoy the site as much as I am and oh if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them!

PS. Pigtures are a must!
