 New Here.... Hello everyone!!! I am new to the cavy world so please bear with any silly questions I may ask in the near future. I recently aquired my two piggies when my boyfriend resuced them from the local animal shelter for my birthday. They are two males named Neo and Farley. I have had them for one whole week and am already madly in love.  We are working on trying to find the supplies locally to make a C&C cage for them. If anyone has some suggestions on where to aquire the cubes or coroplast it would be greatly appreciated. Besides my piggies, I am a proud mommy to chinchillas, which I show in CA with some great succes thus far. We also have three sugar gliders, one hamster, two water dragons, and one very large iguana. I guess you could say we have quite the zoo at our house. |

| Re: New Here.... If you live anywhere near a Target - the cubes are on sale until 10/29 for only $12 dollars. You'll probably want to get 2 packs so it's best to get them on sale like that. Usually they are $20 there. Coroplast, sign stores, university art stores, professional art stores, "regal plastics" Good luck you came to the right place for sure! If you are looking for Guinea Pig info you have definetly came to the best place out there, there are very very knowledgeable people here who will be happy to answer your questions. | Re: New Here.... Hi there and welcome! I had to order my cubes online since no store had them locally. If you can't find any in town but have a local Wal-Mart, you can order them online and have the sent to the store with no shipping fees. I found my coroplast from a sign store in town, took a few phone calls to track down one that had it but I found one eventually. =) |
