Smile New To Cavies..

Hello,

I bought 3 cavies from the SPCA about a month and a half ago. We lost Ginger about a week later. We have her buried in the back yard. We still have Piglet (longhaired) and Bridgette(shorthaired).

I made a 2x3 cube cage, from leftover cubes i had from making my kids cubes for clothes. I bought a Large bunny cage from a garage sale $20. Cleaned it up. Lookin to integrate both together..for a larger cage. Any ideas??

Im absolutely spoiling these pigs. Making sure they get the best of everything. I threw out a $10 bag of food which had nuts etc in it. After i found out they can choke.

Thanks for the support.

Ramona.

Unhappy Re: New To Cavies..

I currently have an old pet store cage integrated into my new half C&C Cage half alternative cage. I took the old pet store cage cut a square door i the lower half of the pan and put the pigs food, water, veggies, and hay. It keeps the fleece from getting dirty and they love the transition it gives them something to explore I turned it into a little tunnel into the old cage.
