Hello there, my name is Sarah I am a 23 year old college student from Columbia,MO I have been looking for one two Guinea Pigs to adopt for a while now. I actually was lucky enough to come across some piggies in KS that need to be re-homed by confuzioncity on here, and my BF lives in Overland Park,KS and I am going to be heading up to KS tommrow in the evening to go visit my BF for a week...so I am making arrangements to meet up with confuzioncity and meet some of her piggies hopefully I will be able to help them out and adopt one or two of them.
Hopefully after I get my arrivals I will get some great advice for the web forum as well, since I am not quite used to having piggies as pets.

Welcome kala83! Have a look at the sticky threads at the top of each forum; there's a lot of basic care and nutrition info in those threads. It is so good that you are doing research before adopting the piggies. I'd suggest adopting a pair, they will be much happier if they have a buddy!

Welcome Kala. I too am a new member to this forum and currently have 3 girls aged between 3 months and 1 week and 4 months and 2 weeks. Remember to get a 10.5sq ft cage if you are getting 2 guinea pigs, C&C cages are great (as you probably already know).

I think I am going to end up adopting two...confuzioncity has three females...and although I would love to help with all of em...I just don't have the room to house three, but I think getting two from her will work out well. I think it would be hard on one of em if they just came back all by them self, so I am going to look at getting two of her girls I am going to be taking pictures of the ones I am looking adopting and I'll make sure to post up pictures from this coming week when I meet them and confuzioncity. Hopefully this will all work out well also confuzioncity has a C&C cage in pieces that she is giving with them and I am hoping she can show me how to put it together when I go and see her this week since I have no idea how it works to put em together.
I'll keep you all posted on how EVERYTHING goes!
