Hi. My name is Dawn, I'm married to an awesome man and have 2 beautiful kids. Our Guinea pig's name is Ruby. She is a joy. I hope to get her a friend soon. I'm working on my husband, hope it won't be long. In the meantime I work from my home so I am here most of the day and Ruby gets tons of attention. She's a happy pig. She loves to popcorn! Ok, well, I just thought I'd introduce myself. Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks Twitchy and Piggersrule Ruby is about 6 months old. That picture was taken about 2 months ago. It isn't real clear because I have to use my cell phone and it isn't the best quality.

I plan to take some more pictures soon. We got Ruby about 2 months ago and had her in a "large" pet store cage for a couple of weeks until we got her C&C made. I ordered it off of Sue because I had a hard time finding the materials. It is the extra small one , so it's almost 2x3 and she loves it. If we get her a friend then we will make a bigger one.

I ordered some fleece and we just recieved it, so once I get it all set up I'll get some better pictures.

Thanks Howie, I really do try! I did a lot of research before we got her and I am online everyday learning something new. People think I go a little overboard. When they think of Guinea pig they think of a boring little rodent that sits in an aquarium all day and does nothing. It's really very sad. They come over and see the big cage and toys and fresh veggies and everything and think I am a little nuts. But after a while they usually point out that they never knew they could be so active and so much fun to watch. I know that my cage is small for a C&C, it is almost 2x3. They are shocked when I tell them that bigger is actually recommended and I hope to upgrade eventually!

There are a couple of pictures from when we first got her. It shows off her markings. But like I said the pictures are a little dull because I used my cell phone.

She's grown a lot. So I'll get some recent ones to show off soon!
