I'm new to this forum and also new as a pet owner, so I'm sure there is still a lot about cavy care that I don't know yet and will hopefully find out soon, even though I did my best to find out about the most important things before I got the pigs.

I'm German, but supposedly I speak English very well (should at least be enough to be understood here).

Yes, well, I've got two cavies, which are - as mentioned above - my first pets ever. My parents never wanted any pets in their home, so I had to wait until a few weeks ago. Two females, Daemon and Schnitzel. Daemon, because she has red eyes, Schnitzel,... well I don't know why Schnitzel. That wasn't my idea. I keep them together with my boyfriend, he picked one name as well and for some reason he liked that name.

I've got some pictures from my little ones.
They're not very good, though. But more than nothing.
The one with more color and the lighter shade of brown is Daemon. The other one Schnitzel. Schnitzel is still very shy. They're both... around 13 weeks old and Schnitzel is probably pregnant (not my fault though - both my cavies are definitely female).

so cute! Schnitzel does look like shes a bit round on the back side! One of my babies born yesterday looks like that!
