New member from the UK Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while and thought I should finally join the forum. My name is Elli and I live in the UK with my nine week old guinea-pig, Tabitha. She's currently in a pet-shop cage that I had before I got her, but I've been looking into C&C cages for a while now and finally my grids arrived last night. I'll be building her either a 3x2 or a 4x2 as soon as I've got my correx ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: New member from the UK Hi, welcome to the forum! Nice to see more UKers on here! Your piggie is very sweet, congrats for deciding to build a bigger cage. I would go for a 2x4 if you have room, I have two piggies in a 2.5 x 4 and it still seems small.

Re: New member from the UK I should have enough grids to do a 4x2 (and it will have to have a roof, I have two cats), it's just whether I can fit it in- if not it will be a 3x2 and plenty of floor-time. I've got a playpen set up in the middle of the floor that she runs round in every evening when I'm in here with her too, so she should be getting enough exercise

Re: New member from the UK Welcome, Elli! Sounds like you're doing great with Tabitha. She'll love her new cage. Just one thing - have you thought of adopting her a friend? Pigs are social animals and tend to thrive in company of their own kind. As crazywiggy said, it's nice to see another UK-er too. I'm in Northern Ireland but wish I was back in England!
