Yes New boy in town!

For all of you who read my other post about this, I got Spike!

It was interesting. I went in to get him since all the cats are now up to date on their shots. Well, the lady infront of me in line had his adoption papers! I was like "Oh no, you are adopting Spike!" and she asked me why I knew his name and everything from a picture. I told her that I had come to see him the week before and I was hoping to get him today. After talking about it and after she went back to look at the other two pigs she said I could have Spike! It made it a little more work for the lady working, since she had to re-print the papers and stuff.
But he's at my house and is very curious to look at all he can from his cage in the guest room. He also makes a "mer mer" sound when he walks around, it's so cute! He mutters like an old man!
I'm pretty sure he is an abyssinian.
I only have the pigture from the shelter still:

But more will come soon!

Haha, I forgot to post a little about me!
I graduated college in Dec from the U of Akron! (go zips!) and am now working on gettting some artsy job. Since that isn't working out too well, I work at InkStop part time, and job hunt/play WoW the rest of the time.
I've been on here a bit and posted a bit, but never came here to introduce myself until now. Hello all!

Thanks! I felt almost like I was going to cry if that lady had been like "Too bad, I got him first" since I went through all that and the waiting! Especially since I would have watched him go out the door.

Re: New boy in town!

Congrats on adopting Spike! His markings are almost exactly the same as my Snickers, creepy...She is an abby too, except she only has one brown spot around her head/neck. Here is another picture of her:

Re: New boy in town!

Iam soooo GLAD you got Spike! I keot checking your other thread. He looks like my Peanut, an abby who has a checkerboard pattern on her back in those colors. She is the smallest and fiercest piggie who has to live alone because she can't get along with anyone, ever. She runs around going mine, mine, mine. Spike will probably be sweeter. i love his muttering.
