Awaiting my piggies!

Hi all, I've been lurking & sucking up info from this site, and figured it was time to intro myself. I am adopting 2 same sex piggies from another member of this site, Lucie, and I'm just waiting for them to be ready to leave momma. I think I have everything I need to start, and have even made them a small sleep sack & a cuddle cup. I'm going to make more, as they were SO easy to make, and that way I can have a spare or 2 while the others are in the wash.

Can i ask you how you make cuddle cups and sleep sacks as I would like to start making them for the local animal rescue centre.

I used the directions on this site for the cuddle cup, ( I think it is under bedding or accessories?) the only difference being that I tacked high loft batting to both sides, then sewed them up on my machine, took me about 45 mins to cut out & sew my first one, so I'm thinking now that the practice is out of the way, they should only take 30 mins or so to make, and the sleep sack I just kind of did on the fly with scraps that I had left from other sewing projects. If I could figure out how to post photos, I'd put a picture up!

Do you have pictures on a digital camera or mobile phone or on your computer? If so, you just click on manage attachments when you are writing a message on here, and it lets you browse for your pictures. If you are able to post pictures, that would be great. :0)

I have about another week & 1/2 I think, and I'm not sure if they are boys are girls yet, she's tried sexing them, but can't tell yet b/c they are so young, but I'm taking 2 out of 3 remaining piggies, so 2 of them have to be the same sex , I told her she better get it right, I'm not having babies!

oh and I am still trying to get my pics to load, I've gotten them down some but they are still too big to post, anyon have hints on resizing?

I bet your excited I know I would be. Well your sleep sack looks really cute. I can't see the other one though but I like the pick color. Hahaha what happens if they turn out to be boys. You will have a pink sleep sack for boys..hehe.

Oh and the pink were scraps that I had laying around, I also have 2 more cuddlers that are bright orange & bright yellow, so all bases are covered, and I don't think the pigs will get a complex sleeping on pink

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I'm trying to get everything I need, so I'm making cuddlers & getting everything ready for my "Easter Cage" for the girls. This way they can read up on the care of GP's on this site before we actually get the pigs (but truth be told, the GP's will be mine, I'll just let them name them!) My 10 year old will be a big help, and my 5 year old will be able to put the veggies in the cage & refill the hay when I tell her to.
