Re: Hi! I just joined! New to the piggy loving family! There aren't seeds in the mix. It's supposed to be a good mix for guinea pigs. It's something that my vet recommended.

Re: Hi! I just joined! New to the piggy loving family! Oxbow and Kleenmamas' pellets are pretty much the best kind of pellets for guinea pigs that you can find out there. They are also way cheaper than many of the brands you can buy at the store. What's the stuff that you're feeding them now called?

Re: Hi! I just joined! New to the piggy loving family! Mixes often contain animal byproducts. They also have artificial colors and pose a choking hazard. Only plain pellets should be fed.

Re: Hi! I just joined! New to the piggy loving family! awh your babies are so cute, and so is your mom. I also have a baby. I adopted her from some one who was going to dump her off at a petstore or shelter. Now I feel good :] Make sure if you adopt to quarentine. I made my mistake and didn't. Now my middle aged girl has URI symtoms. Which we are trying our best to find an exotic vet some where close. So far no vets accept cavies. =/ so make sure you quarentine. Nice cage also. Yes babies can climb out of holes so easily. Our little girl climbs through tiny hamster sized holes to get in her chinchilla hut when Faith and Montrey are crowded into it. Out of 2 hidey houses they all cramp into one at a time! :] Good luck with the babies. Do you plan on keeping them all?

Re: Hi! I just joined! New to the piggy loving family! Yes, I'm keeping them all. I doubled up the wire to make the holes smaller where the babies can't get out.

Re: Hi! I just joined! New to the piggy loving family! Thanks! And I am very greatful for the help. At times I might not act like it, but I really do. I am always changing the cage, trying to figure out what the piggies like best.
