Hello, new owners Hi there, me and my b/f just got little scruffy two weeks ago and it has been great. scruffy is a gray and white female who is very friendly and active. This is the first time either of us has owned a guinea pig, although we both owned dogs and cats, I've had a horse in the past, and he owned a hampster a long time ago. we are hooked already and were talking about adopting one more today thanks for reading -vanessa, kyle, and scruffy

Re: Hello, new owners I'm sure Scruffy would love to have someone to run and play and snuggle with. Just make sure you are positive she is a girl, and positive the piggie you adopt is a girl. Missexing is very common, and you wouldn't want to end up with a pregnant pig. Welcome to the forums!! It's nice to meet you.

Re: Hello, new owners Welcome! I'm sure that Scruffy will do great with another piggy. Also if you buy another piggy make sure she isn't pregnant, I made that mistake when I bought my second one.

Re: Hello, new owners That's why you adopt from a reputable rescue or an animal shelter.
