Talking New Pigsters..........

Ok, I really was trying hard to wait to get a piggie from a rescue but felt so bad for these guys............ they were at the feed store bunched in a little 10 gal aquarium, I picked the 2 that I thought were girls, wish I could have taken more out of that situation :-(
I have been going over and over the sexing pages and sure hope they are both girls but one keeps making a strange sound, almost like a rumble, they were in with a male that was rumblestrutting all over the place and I hope to God they weren't bred!
I wasn't expecting to get them so soon so don't even have my c&c cage yet but I'll get that going here after the holidays.
I think my daughter has decided on the names Teddy and Oreo.
If anyone knows what kind they are it would be nice to know.

Here is Teddy..............I'm 99.9% positive this is a girl

Here is Oreo.................. I'm only 80.0% positive this is a girl, this one does the rumble and has a questionable "tip" at the top of the "Y" but can't get anything to come out, hoping she's just being dominant.

They both feel warm to me though and Oreo breaths fast when I hold her but she's more scared than the other one.

Wish us luck!

Merry Christmas!

Re: New Pigsters..........

You can bet on the fact that if there was even one male in there, most likely the females are pregnant. As for the rumble, there are even some females that do that, you had best figure out what your two piggers are, male or female, and if one is a male and the other a female, you should seperate them, unless you want to take the chance of her having babies or future babies, because the female can be inpregnated within hours of giving birth..

I had recieved one from a friend that was very very small, and come to find out that she was already pregnant, she ended up dying trying to give birth to those babies. So as you can see it does not always turn out very pleasant..

Good luck on the sexing of your piggers.
