Hello! My name is Cait. Recently I adopted a male guinea pig. He was supposed to be my foster, but I figured it'd be easier (in this situation) for me to just adopt him. He doesn't have a name quite yet, but he was called "Moe" before. It doesn't fit him, though.

I always take a long time to name my animals. :P I always have to find the perfect name for my babies, hehe. So far I am leaning towards Jasper.

I had a dog growing up named Jackson... He was a sweet boy.

I'll have to get more pics up when my camera is not as dysfuntional.

I am like you - infact, my son didn't have a name for about a week - I had to find the 'right' one!!!

Jasper is a lovely name - I quite like 'Jet' too - seeing as he is 'black'. He reminds me a wee bit of my Mellow - who is dark - but hs grey and tan strands through her coat.

Thank you everyone. His name is Jasper now. My friend kept saying it, so Jasper it became.

I've gotten wind of another gp who needs a home, and have in fact seen it. However, I am unskilled as to sexing them unless they are adults. *shame faced* They called it a "she", however, I looked and it appeared male. If it is indeed male, it may just become a partner for Jas. It's an odd yellow/tan color, with black eyes. Cute Abby thing.

I don't want Jasper to be alone (of course!!) so I am hoping it is a male, since it is young enough for intros to go much easier. Right now the pig is in quarantine (in fact I had to change clothes and shower after playing with her). We'll see!
