Angry I am so very angry!

First, I must apologize for this long rant, but this is the only place I can rant that people will understand the extent of my anger.
I am a new member and although I have kept GPs before, I am getting smarter and doing a better job this time around. (I am very poud of my new big cage, and already thinking of a small add on) But, I digress. Because of my new found smarts, thanks to you, I find that I am immensly upset with my sister and her chinchilla situation.
Are you ready? She bought 3 chins from 3 different people that were tired of caring for them. I'm ok with that. But she got two females and one male with the intention of breeding them and making enough money to support her pets! Oh, the anger! So far the male impregnated one of the girls(no idea of their history or age!) and then somehow tried to cram himself though the wires, got stuck and died! The horror! Now the female of indetermenent history and age spent almost three days in labor before having a c-section (and spay) in which the result is the death of all the babies, but mom is alive.
I have tried to tell her about the horrors of breeding, but she as always does't listen. She still thinks she may want to get another male and breed the poor remaining female which inards still function. Then she wants me to sympathize(sorry spelling) with her about her chin graveyard as she calls it. I don't know what else I can say to her to make her see reason. I can't call the humane society or anyone else to intervene because she will absolutely disown me and make the rest of the family miserable for the rest of our lives. I do love her but she cannot see beyond her own selfish wants( it has always been that way). What can I do?
P.S. I am not very computer savy and my spelling sucks, is there a spell check?

I'm sorry to hear about your sister. Unfortunately, if she hasn't already learned from her mistakes, there's just not much you can do.

Re: I am so very angry!

I own a chinchilla and run a chinchilla board. This is so horrible. I don't know why the death of an animal (they certainly weren't pets) doesn't seem to phase people.

BTW there is spell check. You will find it at the top right hand side. It is a box with a check mark in it!!

Re: I am so very angry!

I am really sorry to read about what your sister is doing. If you absolutely can not convince her to stop breeding, at least try to convince her to seek help in forums and to read about the process. With any luck the research may show her the mistake of her ways.
