I got a new piggie buddy

Well, if you have read the "In loving memory" section, you know that my Boo-Boo bear passed away.
I noticed that Yogi was acting somewhat listless and a bit lackluster. I know he was missing his best buddy, so I checked out the only humane society and no piggies there, and we don't have a piggie rescue here.

Then I remembered the little girl I babysit had gotten a guniea pig about 5 months ago. They have a lot of pets in the family as is and her dad wants the piggie to go to a new home. She got the piggie because she wanted to be just like me, I did show her proper care and built her a custom cage at least. I would rather take Delilah in than have her go to some home that can't take proper care of her.

For now they are in a divided cage, so they can still talk and visit, but can't get together and procreate. Yogi is due to be fixed in December (that was the soonest I could get it done) He has perked up so much from having Delilah in the cage. I think he just needs another piggie to comfort him now.

Aww that is so sweet. I "rescued" my newest piggy from a friend. She has to many pets, and asked me if I could take in three, I said absolutely not! But that I would try to house them with a good family. When they arrived at my house before going to their new home, I noticed that Hairetta was not happy with the other too piggys. She was so aggitated, that I decided to give the two young piggys to new owners and keep her. She is much happier by herself. Sorry, I didn't mean to go on. Congrates on the new piggy, I hope they will be very happy together. I also hope the surgery goes well. Please keep us updated.

I recently adopted a new piggy too, my stepmom bought one and he didn't get along with the one she already had and didn't have enough room for a larger cage so i took him in. So im kind of in the same boat as you, hoping they'll get along after i get little man neutered. Here's to hoping and good luck!
