First time Piggy owner!

Today I became the proud mommy of three little boy piggies!!! They are precious!! I built them a C&C and they run around tons!! They seem very timid and run when I try to pick them up, how long does it take most piggies to get used to you?? thanks!!!

Re: First time Piggy owner!

mine took around a week to sit cumfortly on my lap and be petted and to accept food from my hand, but I think it depends on how long you spend each day with them and what kind of personality they have.

Re: First time Piggy owner!

It's different depending on the pig's personality. Just take some time out of the day to give them floor time for about an hour or so and play with them. You can always hold out food in your hands and see if they will eat it. That's what I did when I first got Sid. Also devote a little time to lap time and pick them up a little bit. Just be patient and they will eventually come around.
