 new here [FONT=Fixedsys][FONT=Verdana]HI EVERYONE WE ARE NEW HERE.WE JUST BOUGHT A LIL PIGGIE 6 DAYS AGO.HIS NAME IS SNOWBALL.IF YOU HAVE GOT SOME ADVICE FOR ME LET ME KNOW.WE MADE HIM A CAGE BUT HE WONT GO UPSTAIRS WILL HE GET USED TO IT .ALSO WHATS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE STAIRS FOR HIM.THE ONES WE HAVE NOW ARE HOME MADE AND TEMPORARY.THANK YOU HOPE TO HAVE A GREAT TIME HERE.ALSO ARE SALT LICKS GOOD FOR HIM OR NOT?AND WHATS THE BEST BEDDING FOR HIM[/FONT]? | Re: new here Throw out your salt lick, they are bad for them and could cause bladder stones. You should look into adopting a buddy for your pig, after double checking his sex. There are thousands of homeless guinea pigs everywhere, so please look into adopting instead of buying next time. There is a wide variety of bedding you can use, just stay away from cedar and pine, unless it's kiln-dried. Is it a C&C cage you made? Welcome to the forum! |
