New Member...Proud Cavy Parent

Hello everyone!! I stumbled onto this website in my neverending search for information about our newest addition to our family. As a child, I raised rabbits and hamsters, and had always wanted a Cavy, but was not permitted to get one. I had read all the books I could find on the subject, and finally, after much begging from my 12 year old daughter, we added Tod to our family. He was 2 months old when we got him, and over the last 6 months has been a joy. He is the sweetest thing. Everyday we learn new things from him. We are hoping to get him a "roommate" soon, but need to resolve some space issues first. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell everyone how wonderfully helpful the forum has been in providing me with information. I look forward to exploring further, and someday be able to offer helpful advise as well!

Welcome to the forum! This is a great place with a ton of information. Please remember when you get a buddy for Tod that you adopt. And yes, we love pigtures!!
