Introduction Hello, I have been on this website awhile but waited to introduce until I got my pigs, as many of you already know I just adopted Susan's two piggies (Son of a pig and Junior). There cage is 2 grids by 5 grids. Ok enough talk time for pigitures. Here is the cage, ![]() Another view ![]() and a piggie level view ![]() ( I added a shoe box to stop arguing over the house )And now time for the pigs, Junior ![]() Son of a Pig pigging out ![]()

Re: Introduction Ooo. My pigs love towel tents more than anything else in the world. Silly how they like my home made stuff more than the stuff I buy them at the store. I should have known.

Re: Introduction Yeah, my boys ( it feels so good to say that ) like thier cage. Junior plays with they cat ball a little but if I look at him when I hear the bell shake he will drop it and walk away, like he is ashamed to play with it. Here's Son of a pig enjoying his house ![]()

Re: Introduction How strange - maybe they're out in the drive way and I just missed them. Or maybe they're still in the living room. Who knows? it doesn't matter - I'm just so glad that they're having such a good time. And I'm so glad that you're keeping their names!

Re: Introduction Yeah I liked thier there names, I rellay like how Junior is so big. I think when you got the piggies some lettuce for the ride you set the houses down and we forgot. Heres another pic ![]()

Re: Introduction Oh, I miss them so much I can hardly stand to look at these pictures! But it's so great that they look so happy! What a huge cage for them, especially compared to the one they had at my house. I could not be happier over who adopted my pigs. You've done a really great job for them, and I can't tell you how much it means to me.

Re: Introduction Your cage does look very nice and the piggies are of course adorable. I am glad Susan can still enjoy them via the site. I know it can be comforting to see how they are doing. I use the soda boxes too for tunnels. My girls love them. They play and sleep in them. I think it is cooler in them too than the pigloos and the other hidey they have. I am not sure where you are, but it is roasty toasty in Tucson, AZ. I also put in a brick for them to lay on or against when it is hot. I have seen them lay against it. I really like your hay racks. I am guessing you cut them down to size and than put them together. Nice.

Re: Introduction For the hayracks I used mini grids I got at Bed Bath and Beyound. I had only made one, but then I saw how big the pigs were and made another. Whenever it gets low they knock it over until I go to where I keep the hay and if they see me anywhere near it they start wheeking like crazy.

Re: Introduction I really like the mini grids. I've never see those before - what a good idea. They both do love to eat. And eat some more. I really love the way you call him Son-Of-A-Pig. I hope you don't think I'm teasing you, because I'm not - I think that's hilarious and a great name. When we originally named him, we named him Son-of-Pig, without the "A". he and Junior are brothers, and since Junior was first and named Junior, we couldn't very well name them *both* Junior, but we thought Son-of-Pig should be named after his dad in some way (his dad's name was Mr. Pig - quite original), so we came up with Son-of-Pig. I thought I was so clever, but Son-of-a-Pig is so much better and funnier! I love it.
