Re: Hello everyone

I am sure that everyone else will tell you soon enough, but this is an ANTI-breeding site. Everyone here adopts pigges due to the overpopulation of the poor animals - please don't add to the problem.

I'm certain you do have a problem. You simply haven't realized it yet. If you keep breeding you are going to make the problem worse and worse.

Re: Hello everyone

There is no excuse for breeding. There is no excuse to risk your animals lives, which you do everyday. I have seen your post in the Memorial forum. You have had many die just this month. I can't imagine how many you have killed throughout the year. Your animals are kept in small cages, outside in poor condition. There is no excuse for what you do.

http://cavyspirit.com/hollister.htm
http://cavyspirit.com/petstores.htm
http://www.guinealynx.com/breeding.html

Read over those links and then ask yourself, why do I risk my animals lives every day? Is it worth it to see them suffer and die? Is it worth it to help contribute to the overpopulation around the world? Is it worth it to condemn guinea pigs in shelters to death because I feel the need to breed? Is it worth it to loose FIVE pigs in one month "due to the heat" (one more being "the most likely to die next")? The answer seems obvious to me.

Re: Hello everyone

I just did a quick forum search for adoption agencies in Sweden. This is what I came up with:http://www.blocket.se/ and http://www.marsvinshjalpen.tk/ from this thread:http://www.cavycages.com/forum/showt...ghlight=Sweden

If there are rescues in a country then there is an overpopluation problem.

Yep, and I have found LOADS of pet shops selling animals in Sweden - where there are guinea pigs being sold in pet shops, there will certainly be a problem! You are certainly NOT helping that problem! Also when doing a search for 'marsvin' on local adds, there are LOADS of unwanted guinea pigs looking for homes!
