Introducing Dilly!

Weaver and I are carrying on back and forth about our new pigs and wishes etc. i saw her posted with SC GP Rescue last week and wanted her so badly. I also wanted Buzz but I can't have two boars and I don't have room to make another new cage.

We are heading to North Augusta/SC tomorrow. It is close to a 4 hour drive to get to Patricia's. I am so excited. I have her travel cage all decked out in pink. It is cage cleaning day here and I will make Doolittle's old hospital section dilly's new home. I will take pics after it is all done. I usually

ly gag about while doing the cage!
so may I introduce Dilly to you all. she looks like a baby armadillo so I named her Dilly.

Do the skinny's get on with the furrys? I still haven't gotten over the last skinny photo I saw - she is cute, in an armadillo kinda way

Sure they are all pigs. Lucy rememebr who you were getting ready last week and all? I am that way now! It is so much fun.

Please be careful on your trip and be sure to post some pictures of her when you get all settled in. I am sure she has already gotten much bigger than that picture of her. She is one special, lucky piggie.

It is such a great feeling, it hasn't gone away yet - in fact I hope it never does! My boys are just great, Jack is easier than Tyler, but they are both just adorable.

Weaver, Yes I am going to take pigtures of your girls. I can't wait to see them either! Ha Ha I was getting my directions together when your post came in.

Lucy I hope you know my post was riddled with typos. I must have been too lazy to see them. who is suppose to be how and I just love messing up remember all the time!

Let me get back to the cage so I can play and take pics. My kids are still on the kitchen floor.

Whew I am finished, I think! Here are pictures of her nursery. I am going to email them to Patricia also. She already knows how nutty I am so might as well!

I put an extra towel and fleece next to the 'fence' as I figure she will hang out there often!

And larger view of things. Excuse the pig laundry. I am still washing and drying!

Her nursery looks so young and girly! Perfect for dear young Dilly. She will be an extremely lucky young lady to live you you Judy. She will love to meet Skunky, Jenny, Lambchop, Ginger, Meg, Polly, Sable and Doo when she's a bit older and settled. She's adorable. So precious.

I will have to re-do your painting now too Judy!! You get some good pics over the next few months and I will work on one with everybody in.

She is just precious! How old is she? She looks like a baby. Good luck and have a safe trip! I can't wait to see pigtures of her when she's home!

She is 4 weeks old hence the playpen fencing to baby proof the nursery! I am ready. Travel cage and pig tote not knowing what we will use. directions from Patricia and road atlas!! Road trip.......I think I will have Jeff drive there so I can read my chapter for school. I will drive home.

Judy, I don't know how you can read in the car!

If you get a chance will you see if you can snap a few pics of the skinny boys, too? And Mason (I think he might be half skinny or something and I kind of want a closer look

)? If Patricia doesn't mind, that is.

I'm so excited to see pictures of Dilly in her new home, and am so glad that she is obviously going to a great home. You will love her, I'm sure, and I bet she'll turn out to be a typical skinny cuddle bug.

Congrats! What a great name! She does resemble a little armadillo. I think skinnies are just so cute but I have my hands full at the moment. The husband says "no more pets untill we move or longer" and I don't know enough about them to be sure I'd give them all the care they need. I'm sure most of the basics are the same as the haired cavies but the extra care I'm not sure about. Have a safe trip, congrats again, I'm sure she'll be THRILLED with her new pink home!
