The Girls are Home!

Here's a summary: C&K posted about a girl about to be abandoned in Toronto. She was a classroom pig that didn't have a home anymore because it was summer. I had to save her. Well she needed friends too! So we went to Mississagua and adopted two girls who were dropped off because their owner was moving out of the country. Well after a total of 14 hours in the car, about 7 with pigs, they're home! Here are the pictures:

Caramel's full name: Caramel Stinky Squeaky Pudding Wilkerson. Named so because she looks like Caramel Pudding.

Rouge's full name: Rouge Juilia Wilkerson. Named after Rouge from X-men because of her white blaze.

Morgan's full name: Morgan Pearl Gina Wilkerson. Named after Captian Morgan because of her "eye patch".

Shouldn't that be Rogue? Rouge = blush = makeup

I think Morgan has some very interesting colors on her. They are all pretty girls and I know glad to be home.

NM- I have two young boys who have been with me for about a month. I adopted them from Alona on GL who had a prggie pet store pig. We got Rogue and Morgan in Mississagua (I think that's how you spell it). They were left at the humane society there because their previous owner was moving out of the country. And how'd we like Cananda? Well there were a lot of golf courses, Wendy's and Tim Hourtons. Ever exit we passed had at least one of these things. That's all we really got to see was the freeways. Some day I'd like to make the drive again and go camping near the falls.

Right now Morgan and Rogue and picking on Caramel. I'm going to go out and buy some more hidey houses. I figure if I put four in there Morgan can't claim them all.

Rogue and Caramel are overweight from being in such a small cage all their lives and being free fed pellets. They've taken really well to the hay and veggies though. They LOVE KM's bluegrass. Morgan and Rogue have mites. They don't like to be touched. I'm treating all three with ivermectin. Morgan and Rogue are not hand tamed at all. They haven't been handled hardly ever. Morgan is pretty good, but Rogue kicks and shakes. I think she has the mites the worst. All threes nails were over grown and got nail trims. I'll get some more pictures later.

I think I'm going to try and expand their quarantine cage. Morgan is beautiful, but she's being a snot. Their permanent cage is going to be a 6x2 with a 1x2 loft and right now they're in a 3x3. Caramel has been banished to one corner of the cage. Grrr. I hope that giving them more space will allow for Caramel to have some more room to move about. I have to clean out my room first to see if I can fit a 2x6 in there. If I can I'll just build their permanent cage now and move it when their quarantine is over.

I'm confused... if they are all three together, who are you quarantining them from?
