hi. im new to cavy cages, and i have one piggie. her name is buttons, and she is a crested guinea pig, with colours orange and white. i got her from a person who didnt want her anymore, so they wouldnt drop her at a shelter. ok, seeya, and i will talk more later... its getting late. bye!

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad that you were able to take her in instead of having the person take her to a shelter. We recommend that piggies are kept with a friend. They can get lonely since they are herd animals. Have you built a C&C cage? I've revised my cage 5 times since last July and I'm thinking of revising again. It's fun and keeps the piggies entertained (well, maybe me more than them.) Can't wait to see a pigture of Buttons.

Yes, we got buttons a friend, whose name is mr chips. They get along well. (Mr chips has been nuterd) And i am happy owning these guinea pigs. they make me happy after a sad day

They are currently living in a c&c cage, but they do like to go outside in an enclosed area so they can enjoy the sunlight and grass.
