Hello! I am new here!

I had run across this site a long time ago, wile I was doing research on guinea pigs to see what kind of foods that my guinea pig could and could not eat. WOW, I sure learned so much about my guinea pig I love this site! THEN I relized that he needed a bigger cage! I had attemped a 2X3 cage, wasn't very pretty, but it worked. Then I moved to an apartment in the city and didn't have enough room for that cage. I had to make a new one. My piggy still loves it though. I am still working on it though. Any suggestions?

Re: Hello! I am new here!

I am glad you have found this site useful.

I can't see your photo, it is a red X to me, but it may be my computer?

If it isn't at least a 2x3, then it really needs to be expanded. a 2x3 is the minimum requirement for a lone pig. I can appreciate you don't have much space, I live in a 600 square foot house with 5 people, and 2 closet sized bedrooms, we have a 2x4 and up until the weekend when my fosters went home, a 2x3 set up. It was a huge sacrifice as far as room goes, but if you get creative and there is a will, there is always a way!

Some people use the C&C in place of a coffee table for example! I have even seen members that live in small trailers find the room!

Good luck!~
