HI EVERYONE!!!! new to forum...(been reading but just registered )

hello! I have two new cavies KHLOE & HARLOW. I have had Khloe for about 4 weeks and Harlow for about 3& 1/2 i just took harlow out of quarantine today and the two of them seem to be gettng along famously. they met on neutral ground and i did a cage change from care fresh to fleece today as well. Khloe is very vocal however harlow hasnt said much of anything! i dont know if this is normal. Harlow also seems intimidated by the ramp to the kitchen... she will go up but i havent seen her go down yet. Harlow eats veggies and Khloe does not. they have both nibbled me today when i picked them up i dont know if there stressed or just cheeky! Harlow climbed inside her hay rack so i had to fix it so she couldnt any more i was afraid she would get stuck! and she's a burrower so i had to put in extra coroplast in the loft as i didnt quite have enough fleece for floor and 6 inches around...... they are both poop machines! and skittish but i am looking forward to watching thier personalities blossom. Adventures in cavyland.

I'm glad to hear your piggies seem to be getting along! Was Harlow vocal before you introduced her to Khloe? If not, she may just be a quieter pig - or she might get louder as she becomes accustomed to being with Khloe.

thanks everyone! i will try to get good pics! there so fast and still a little skittish although yesterday they both ate apple and khloe never eats any veggies or fruit! no nibbles either! harlow still hasn't wheeked but khloe does
