It's very sad that someone would do this. Not to mention that apparently the little pig has some medical issues but it's another lesson in why pets should not be kept outside. Who's to say that it was taken by a person? A cat, dog or any animal that wanted in and at that guinea pig could have figured out how to undo the latch. I noticed that the mom mentioned that he needs hay in his hutch "because he's allergic to sawdust". Right there is two red flags.
