Blogs: How do I post a blog entry??

I've gone to my blog options and all that, and I still can't find a link that says something like "post new entry" or something of the sort. Can somebody tell me how to post a blog entry please?

You can't post a blog as a Newbie. You need to be promoted to Cavy Slave first--have been a member for 30 days and have at least 10 posts. Then, you see the option to create a blog!

When do I get promoted to a "Cavy Slave"?

If you have made 10 posts by then, at 30 days of membership, you are automatically promoted. If at 30 days, you still haven't made 10 posts, it will promote you automatically after you post your 10th post.

The reason for this is that too many newbies rush to post things in their blog that really belong on the forum. And new members really need to get a good feel of the forum before contributing to the more social nature of the blogs. Also, blogs are picked up by the search engines, so we really want to ensure that the blogs reflect our community flavor and so want to make sure that new members have some time to get a good feel of the forum.
