This new forum is exclusively for submitted tips on cages and care about guinea pigs. These tips can of course, be seen here, but the idea is to develop an ongoing source of tips that I can use for publication outside of this forum. I'm getting close to re-instating a newsletter. Also in the future is a book. There are so many tips and suggestions, many of my own, but far more from readers and contributors, that I thought it would be cool to vote on the top tips. I will give credit to the authors/submitters of the tips in any publications. Please help put me this together! I appreciate your support! Also, ONLY REGISTERED MEMBERS in good standing can even VIEW this forum. Guests will not see it. This forum is a MEMBER BENEFIT. Newbies can vote and reply, but cannot submit new tips yet. And I thought it would be fun!        |

This is such a wonderful idea for a forum topic. I have a tip. I lost the wire for one water bottle. So I grabbed a colorful pipe cleaner and used it. It makes it a little more festive! |

Great idea! What a fun/helpful forum it will be! There's so many changes going on in this forum (which threw me for a loop at first, since this is my first forum experience), but they all seem to be great additions! I don't know how you administrators, mods, etc. keep up with everything. |

FYI, I've updated the configuration of voting on polls to NOT bump the thread to the top of the latest posts list. So, voting on tips or anything else will not put that item at the top of the recent posts list. I think it's less confusing this way and hopefully will encourage more voting. Cheers! Teresa |

First of all, I like member benefits. Second of all, this is a really great idea and I have learned a lot of useful things from the hot tips forum. I'm really glad it was added. |
