I've noticed that a lot of old threads have been getting bumped recently. I think one was even originally posted 4 or 5 years ago! I'm wondering why old threads are being bumped? I'm asking this since it's highly discouraged, unless there is a VERY good reason for it. From the threads that I've read that have been bumped, it was not for a good reason. I don't mean to sound rude, annoyed, or upset. I just want to know why this is happening, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only member on here that has noticed this.       |

I think I may have lost the Old Thread warning notice in the upgrades. I'll look into it and fix it. Thanks for the reminder. |

I've noticed that too and wondered if it had anything to do with the new format, with recently posted to threads being on the top of the board now. Maybe it's drawing more people to other areas of the site? I know it's doing that for me. I find myself now reading threads from areas that I've never or hardly ever visited just because they're there. Last edited by fieryone; 02-25-09 at 05:19 pm. Reason: fixing the tense of a word |
