Unable to upload a photo... - Guinea Pig Cages, Care, Store, Photos of Guinea Pigs and More Forum!

At 12:45AM Central Standard Time, I tried to upload a single picture to the guinea pig part of the gallery. I was unable to do so, so I tried a smaller size picture, and was still unsuccessful. I tried a few times, but was unable to upload the picture. Here is the message I received:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 62914560 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 11392 bytes) in /home/cavycage/public_html/photos/image-inc.php on line 103

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, if you are, can you please let me know? Also, am I doing anything wrong?

T will have to look at this and give you an answer if she can. I and the other mods know nothing about gallery errors.

I noticed that others have been able to upload photos, but I am still getting that error...

Email Teresa a link to this post and ask her for her help.

The only other thing I can suggest is clear out your browser's cache and cookies and try again. If it still fails then contact T (CavySpirit) by email.

No, it's not sorted out yet. I did e-mail T, but I can only imagine how busy she is; patience is a virtue. But thank you for checking in. I did do the computer things that you suggested but with no success.

I am not sure what browser you are using but have you tried a different browser?

Since I've joined, I've used Camino, but I can try Netscape or Safari. Do you think I would have better success with those?

It looks like it's just something T has to fix on a case by case basis, so like you said, patience is a must.

Ly, that's for the suggestion with the web browsers, and it was worth a shot.

Paula, I looked around, but I didn't see that thread before, thank you for bringing it to my attention. I've already e-mailed T, so I guess all I have to do is wait.

In addition to changing browsers, I was going to suggest trying to upload a photo from a different computer if that was a possibility, but after I found the other thread, it just looks like it's something T has to address personally.

Since it's been almost 2 weeks since I first experienced this problem, I thought that should update. No luck yet, I am still unable to upload pictures and I get that same error. Should I try to e-mail CavySpirit again? I don't want to nag her about it...

Let me talk to her about it. I made a thread about it in the mod forum with a link to this one. Hopefully she will have time in the next day or two to look into it. She is very busy these days, that much I can tell you.
