Newbie? Cavy Slave? Cavy Star?

I don't think this post is in the right category. If it is not, I do apologize. I was just curious. How does one go from being a Newbie to a Cavy Slave and then to a Cavy Star? Just wondering.

You are right, this isn't in the right category. I will move it.

To become a cavy slave, you must have been a member for 30 days and have I believe at least 10 posts. To become a Cavy Star or Cavy Champion, you donate. To become a star it's a donation of at least $10 per year and to become a champion, it's $10 per month. There is a big thing on the left side of the main forum area http://www.guineapigcages.com/forum about Cavy Star's.

To see all the ranks there are- look at the bottom of the page I linked and see the Legend.

In response to your question, at the bottom of the forum on the index page it states:

Legend of Member Types (determined automatically by registration status or by Moderators)

Unconfirmed|Cavy Caged|Cavy People|Newbies|Cavy Slaves|Cavy Stars|Cavy Champions|Moderators|Banned

Unconfirmed have email confirmations pending and can't post yet,
Cavy Caged must have their posts approved by moderators,
Cavy People have been excluded from posting in the Kitchen and Veg Forums,
Newbies are new members: under 30 days or 10 posts (can't thank yet),
Cavy Slaves are full members,
Cavy Stars have donated $10 a year and have extra privileges,
Cavy Champions donate $10 a month and have even more privileges!
