I put the fleece in last night, and at first the boys weren't sure about it. They've had it under their hidey houses, but this was all over, man! However, this morning after their breakfast they are BOTH doing zoomies! Mama's doing zoomies, too, because now I don't have to pick up aspen shavings off the living room floor when they get excited!
I changed up a few other things at the same time. They are now up on a higher table so the dog can't look them in the eye and push her nose into the bars of their cage--should make them more comfortable. I finally got enough supplies to give them each their own water bottle, food dish, and hidey house. Now they have an entire cage distance between their individual spots when they want to be away from each other. I'm hoping this will keep them from having an adolescent turf war.
I put an invalid bed pad under the fleece in the kitchen, but it was a little short. Since I still have a whole big bag of carefresh, I put that under the fleece in one of the "bedrooms" since they like to pee in their hidey houses. Blech! Is it hard to get the carefresh off the fleece before washing?
