need help
Hi
I have a huge cage for my 3 guinea pigs, I have the guinea pigs for 1 month... the cage has one floor with fleece and toys, very nice and in the second floor 2 x 2 area of pine bedding, but they dont poop in the pine bedding, they poop in the fleece and a lot hahaha Is that normal ? I clean the poop daily and sometimes stink. Any tips please... help. Newbie here.

Re: need help
Guinea pigs cannot be perfectly litter trained, but they do tend to use one corner. Put a litter box there and see if it helps.

Re: need help
Scoop up the poop and put it in the litter box. That should help a little!

Re: need help
I guess just adjust to what they are doing.
Our pigs pee in a certain corner so we put bedding there now and change it every day.

Re: need help
They poop everywhere :-( Yesterday I cleaned the cage, and now, I have a lot of poop, I know that I have 3 guinea pigs in the same cage but it's too much poop. But in 10 minutes, I will go to buy the little box and other stuff for them, they are my babies.

Re: need help
Hehe yeah, they do poop a lot.
It's just something you'll have to deal with.
We spot clean 3 times a day or more.
Soon our 3rd pig will be with the other two...I can only imagine how much more poops there will be. x.x
